Edinburgh, you asked, we listened, and we’re so excited to open our new doors to you on February 1st! Stockbridge’s unique charm has already taken a firm hold of our affections, it’s sophisticated bohemian vibe helping us settle into our new digs with ease. The warm welcome we’ve received from the area has been so encouraging and has made us all the more excited to be a part of such a supportive business community. Having gone for a wee explore around the our nation’s capital, we’re thrilled to be partnering with a number of creatively diverse independent vendors, many of them right on our doorstep!
Our lovely neighbours at Golden Hare Books were incredibly inviting when we went for a visit. Focusing on book curation, the team passionately pursue ethical book procurement whilst also hosting reading and writing groups for all ages. With such avid readers for staff, we’ll definitely be heading over their way for our next book recommendation!
Wandering a little further afield brought us to Cairngorm Coffee, where an impressive level of dedication to speciality coffees was on show. Providing a much appreciated caffeine boost, and an out of this world sandwich, Cairngorm fuelled us well and made us sure to be back to sample the rest of the menu!
With bespoke flavours, casual vibes, and killer local produce, Lovecrumbs really spoke our language when it came to what’s important in life (or at least lunch). We also loved hearing about their collaborative efforts with other Edinburgh eateries, resulting in their snack game being impressively strong. Independent wine merchants, Vino, similarly won us over with their friendly and comfortable store environment where every taste was present and account for.
