We introduced our new case & cloth
We upgraded our practical yet spectacular (if we do say so ourselves) case, to include a magnet feature to allow you to connect all of your IOLLA cases together to create your very own eyewear wardrobe. Not only that, it can be folded flat to fit in your pocket or bag. Our organic cotton case includes a custom designed cleaning cloth, illustrated by local artist, Katie Smith. To celebrate the launch of our new case and cloth, we hid 3 ‘IOLLA Orange Tickets’ in 3 lucky winners glasses cases, giving them a year’s supply of IOLLAs!
Lots of Newness
We elevated some of your favourite frames in the shape of The Fade Collection and The Crystal Collection. The Fade Collection saw the debut of new acetate colours; Maroon Fade for Swinton and Smith, and Aqua Fade for Burns and Connolly. The Crystal Collection presented Bell and Stewart in Clear Crystal and Muir in Vanilla Crystal. We also introduced new glasses Grant & Ferguson to the collection, bringing another eye popping colour to the collection in Deep Blue Crystal, and you seem to love them just as much as we do!
Shopping with IOLLA
We introduced our Try-on Gardens for the sunshine months, meaning you could try on glasses without a mask, with your friends and family, and in the (occasional) glorious Scottish sunshine! Our Virtual Try On continued to allow you to try on glasses from the comfort of your couch, before making a purchase either online or in a showroom. And of course, your furry friends were also, and always will be, welcome in our showrooms. We love a dog visit!
St James Quarter
This year we were super excited to reach more of the people of Edinburgh through the opening of our showroom in the St James Quarter! Our most experimental showroom yet features material and manufacturing displays, an interactive try-on garden, and yes, more dog visits! All of this of course, combined with the spectacular customer experience that you've always known from us. We were ecstatic and proud to be bringing local centre stage in this brand new Edinburgh experience.
We Turned 6!
Summer time, sunnies on! We celebrated our 6th Birthday this year. As well as eating a lot of cake, we extended the party by giving away 6 pairs of IOLLAs to 6 lucky winners. Happy birthday to us!
Festive Gift Shop
We got into the spirit of Christmas with our Festive Gift Shop. Our showrooms were transformed into Christmas wonderlands with curated festive gifts and decorations. We were delighted to welcome special guests, Katie Smith and Lalia Lettering to our St James Quarter showroom. Katie Smith wowed us with her festive hand-painted window display, and Laila Lettering treated our lucky customers to personalised calligraphy on their IOLLA cases. As it's the season of giving, our team donned their favourite festive jumpers in aid of Save the Children for Christmas Jumper Day, not that we need an excuse to look out our fabulous Christmas jumpers!
